Copyright / DMCA Policy

Last updated: September 2026

AiMixUp respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the service to do the same. This page explains how to submit a notice of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), how we respond, how to submit a counter-notice if your content was removed by mistake, and our policy on repeat infringers.

What this covers

AiMixUp hosts content that users upload or generate, including uploaded files, images created or uploaded in Studio, publicly shared wiki notes, shared chat links, and websites built and published through Light Hosting. If you believe any of this material infringes your copyright, you can ask us to remove it using the process below.

How to submit a takedown notice

To be effective under §512(c)(3), a notice must include, in writing, all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it on AiMixUp (a URL, share link, or similarly specific description).
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Use the form below — it collects all six elements and routes directly to our team. You can also send a notice by email to copyright@aimixup.com with the same information. A notice missing any of the six elements may substantially delay our response.

Misrepresentation is a real risk to the sender. Under §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Our designated agent

Our designated agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is in progress. Until that record is published here, send notices to copyright@aimixup.com or use the form below — they reach the same team and are handled under the same process.

What happens after we receive a notice

We review each notice for the six required elements above. When a notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the user who posted it, including a copy of the notice and an explanation of the counter-notice process below. Incomplete notices are returned with a note on what is missing.

Counter-notice

If material you posted was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, outside the U.S., any judicial district in which AiMixUp may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.

Send a counter-notice to copyright@aimixup.com. We forward it to the original complainant; unless they notify us that they have filed a court action seeking an order to restrain the user from the infringing activity, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days as required by §512(g).

Repeat infringer policy

Accounts that are the subject of repeated, valid takedown notices are subject to suspension or termination at our discretion. We track valid notices per account and act accordingly, in keeping with §512(i).
